Sampit City Park

Sampit city park is a public park located in the town of Sampit. This park was once a former soccer field. The park was inaugurated by the Sampit City Regent, Mr. Supian Hadi, S. Ikom.

Many make this park a place to exercise such as casual and other runs. This park is also used as a place to travel with family. More suitable for relaxing in this park in the afternoon and evening.

Mentaya River

Mentaya river is a river located in the city of Sampit, Kotawaringin Timur. This river estuary is located on the bay of Sampit. This river is also a transportation route  since ancient times until now.  It is perfect to enjoy this river in the afternoon and evening because there are many floating restaurants and cafes on the riverbank.

Kota Besi

Kota Besi is a sub-district in the Kotim district. Kota Besi is famous for its icon, which is a pineapple roundabout.

There is also a bridge that stretches over the Mentaya River. Kota Besi has great fruit and vegetable farmers. No wonder if you are  in the Kota Besi, there are a row of fruit and vegetable stalls on the edge of the highway.

Beloved hometown

I was born in the city of Palangkaraya, but when I was little I had moved from place to place because my father worked and moved and now I live in Kota Besi.  Kota Besi or Kobes is not a city, not also a village.  Kota Besi is sub-district located in the vicinity of Sampit. That is whay the Kota Besi is a developed sub-district. The charm of the Kota Besi is increasingly visible with new icon  the pineapple roundabout. Let's visit my hometown, in Kota Besi.
